Maarten Van Severen table in beech wood.

This table was purchased by the previous owner in the atelier of Maarten Van Severen in Ghent. This early table is completely finished in beech veneer, even the underside. With the later models, the traverse beams for strenght and the construction is left visible, so the underside is open. There are round metal coasters in the feet, which allow the table to be put level on an unlevel floor, by turning them around. A rare early atelier piece from Maarten Van Severen in good used condition.
